Leonel Saavedra

Leonel Saavedra is responsible for oversight of all company exploration efforts, domestic and international. He graduated from Texas A&I University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, and attended graduate school at the University of Houston. During his 37 years in the oil and gas business, Mr. Saavedra has acquired experience in numerous basins in the U.S. and South America. Prior to joining Dan A. Hughes Co. Mr. Saavedra worked at Texas Eastern Co., Conoco, Tesoro, Gulf Energy Co., Amax, EEX, and Newfield Exploration.
