Dan A. Hughes, Jr.

Mr. Hughes is president of the Hughes company and HUPECOL Operating Company LLC. He is a member of the Texas A&M University College of Geosciences Advisory Council, Sul Ross State University Borderlands Research Institute Advisory Board, and the All-American Wildcatters. In 2009 Governor Rick Perry appointed Mr. Hughes to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission. He was named Chairman of the Commission in 2014. Mr. Hughes received a business degree from Texas A&M University and completed the geology curriculum at Texas A&I.
